The role will focus on supporting the implementation of AEIDL’s communication strategy. The intern be the primary assistant to AEIDL’s Head of Communications, and will be a core part of the team implementing the Strategy, as well as undertaking ongoing communication tasks for the organisation.
Examples of tasks which could be given to the intern include:
• Schedule and design social media postings for AEIDL
• Liaise with project managers and policy experts to help meet their communication needs
• Assist in publicising AEIDL events and initiatives, in particular ELIF (European Local Innovation Forum)
• Assist in preparing press releases and contact lists
• Advise on and review copy for the AEIDL website
• Assist in the production of publication materials, graphics and other elements of communication products
• Assist in general planning of AEIDL communications
• Assist those supporting the delivery of communication aspects of ongoing EU-funded projects and service contracts
The required profile should have:
• a degree in media, journalism, communications, public relations or a related field;
• a very good working knowledge of English;
• desirable experience: social media management; graphic design ; events management
• strong motivation to learn in, and contribute to, a lively, dynamic team;
• good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
The intern will have the opportunity to work in a strong communication team that works in print, graphics, video, social media and animation.
While there is an expectation of a level of knowledge and experience, the intern will receive guidance and supervision throughout. - Maila akademikoa: Licenciatura o Grado (C5-8)
