The interns will be hosted and supervised by the GBWMBO but both the Office and the Birmingham City Council European and International Department will assign tasks to them.
POLICY RESEARCH:
Carrying out small desk research in R&I policy-related topics
COMMUNICATIONS:
Innovation accelerator project, called DIATOMIC (UK Innovate Funding) – dissemination support
Drafting the quarterly international bulletin of the Birmingham City Council European and International Department
Managing social media accounts and website content (writing and uploading articles)
Supporting potential event organisation
OFFICE MANAGEMENT:
Providing support to office management (admin&finances)
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Providing support to financial reporting of the Birmingham City Council projects
Providing support to European R&I proposal development (admin support)
REPRESENTATION:
Attending working group meetings, events upon request and preparing notes to be sent back to the Birmingham-based member organisations
