- Observaciones: Chemical Engineering, Valorization of bio-based wastes for agro-industrial purposes and towards the preparation of sustainable materials. - Design of formulations for valorizing gulf-based bioproducts (mainly post-consumers, from the sea, and from aquaculture). The candidate is expected to extract natural biopolymers and fibers from biomass, characterize their physico-mechanical properties, and test such materials for valorization towards sustainable materials and for agro-industrial purposes.
Fluent English, both spoken and written (B2 certificate is compulsory). Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Materials science, Environmental Science, Biology, Microbiology, Bioegineering, or Chemical Engineering. Experimental experience on the synthesis of materials is a significant plus. Master's Degree is also a strong asset.
