- Observaciones: The intern will dedicate around half their time to activities supporting the teaching of Euskara to students of the Hispanic Studies and Modern Languages programmes. The intern will receive adequate training and instruction for their progressive involvement in such activities.The rest of their time will be devoted to administrative and promotional tasks for Basque Studies in Liverpool. The intern will participate, among others, in the organization of the Annual Manuel Irujo Lecture and the Iberian Week. The intern will deliver Basque language and culture tasters at several local secondary schools with the aim of promoting the awareness of and the interest in the Basque language and culture. The intern will be in charge of energizing the network of euskaldunes and euskaltzales in Liverpool and the Northwest of England in general, organizing activities that serve to strengthen and expand said network. Another important task will be the achievement of agreements with companies in the Basque Country to provide University of Liverpool students with internships in these companies. This should help foster interest in the study of Basque among our students of Spanish.
